Artists' Statement

I have been making art since I can remember. The trail from beginning to now covers a lot of time and space. Out of choice I worked in comparative isolation from other artists but not out of touch with contemporary art and ideas. It was exciting working at what seemed to be the edge of new visions: filtering ideas through the history of art in an attempt to find myself, in my time, to make works that would speak of the time. The course led through more and more distillations until it led out of the world of objects into the ether of video and computers. The quest is still alive.
