Artists Statement:
In my art, I desire to uncover truths and poetics about that which exists beneath the skin, within the mind, and in nature. I strive to reveal how these may connect and harmonize with one another. In essence, these paintings are metaphorical visions of a union between realism and mysticism- speaking of life, death and being. Through my works, I aspire to evoke thought, curiosity and new perspective concerning the human psyche.
